What other people say:
I need to update the html but can’t figure out which file i need to update. Does that make sense?
For example: I can open the page and with firebug I can remove the sidebar elements (popular, author, tags, topics and recent articles, comments) and move them to the bottom of the sidebar. I have the code how I want. I just don’t know which file to update in the template.
I know CSS and HTML …this wordpress stuff is still a bit new but I almost got it.
You can see the site here. I am wanting to move the video player up below the ad space.
Thank you in advance.

Ok…Could you recommend a black colored theme that will run ongoing twitter feeds, video, is ad ready and features the sliding images up top?
Is there a way to chance the pictures from thumbnails to standard size? I love the theme, but I want the photos for each post to have more presence on the blog page.

I was wondering if you have received that email? I need a little help.
would be intersted in adding additional ad spaces to the sidebar and looking for an idea where to start. \It would be great to implement an elegant fix that increases the number of spots on the admin page…. so someone else can update/edit the ads…
otherwise and idea of where/how I might start to hack away at the theme files would be appreciated…
any thoughts ono how to best approach this?
thanks in advance and great theme!

Is this theme suitable for Wordpress 3.0 ?
Hello Mip,
First, thanks for the great template. I have a problem with the “gallery” custom field in “project detail” pages. I enter the custom values “thumb”, “clean-desc” and “gallery” and the proper (I suppose) values accordingly; I get the thumbnail and description working but no gallery appears. I only get the first image but get a “(” next to it. I don’t have any plug-in activated. and the highlight on the project list is not correctly aligned neither what am I doing wrong? can you please help?
many thanks by now, bakyol

Community Comments:
Guys, I like to test the load times of theme pages on So many themes pull 90, 100, 130 or more elements per page, and because of this they take anywhere from 8 to 15 seconds to download completely.
This NextElement theme is very efficient, and in my testing it is fast, WAY fast.
The homepage has only 44 elements and, get this, TOTAL download time is 1.4 seconds.
I tested a blog post from the theme and got total download times of 2.7 and 2.0 seconds.
Obviously iKarina’s hosting has a lot to do with the performance, and maybe she’s got the site hosted at WordPress VIP or on some superfast nginx server – I don’t know. What I do know is this theme is by far the most efficient I’ve tested in a while. So if you know how to host WordPress the right way and you don’t get silly with fat images, you’re likely get a very fast site with this theme.
iKarina, I hope you’re ok!
regards,
Charlie
I was able to reduce the amount of markup errors by fixing some code for the timthumbs.php. This will eliminate alot of CSS markup errors if you try and validate your code here
You need to go to your theme’s inc/featured_pages/featured_pages.php and edit the code to be sure that all & under the //CHECK IMAGE POST and //CHECK AUTOMATIC THUMB are changed to &
I am having trouble posting the code on this site. Email me if you need the .php file and I will email it to you.

@ binky
To accomplish that, I’d say the easiest was to create a ‘Page’ rather than a post.
From the page editor, apply the ‘Full-width’ template to the page, which removes the sidebar and social menu.
Still got the main header though, but try playing with either creating a 2nd page.php, called ‘sales.php’ which is the same as page.php, but without the header menus called, and implementing a new template for these sales pages.
You may need a developers’ help.

I’ve added my blog URL to Networked Blogs and LinkedIn, but the only blog that shows up is yours. How can I fix this?
