Hi. Really like the design of your theme. I’ve tried uploading it several times, but when I activate it I get a couple of ? boxes and lots of 1’s. How can I make the images show up? I’m hosting at 1and1.

im am still having the same problem.

I would like to create pages with no parent. for example: i would like to create a “our staff” page which a user can access through the “about us” page.

In the admin control panel, i tried to list main page (no parent) attribute, but this adds the link to the top menu. if i click the attribute to use the about us as a parent, the menu has issues.

all i want to do is link it through a hyper link in the body of the page and would like the pages to use the template design.

Hi Steve.

I added the South Africa country and states. Now on my search, the states show up on location but I always get the following message on all the properties and areas:

“You searched for a property in Johannesburg with any amount of bedrooms. You are looking to rent or buy.

Sorry, there were no available properties, try re-searching.”

Exactly where does the search get the locations from and states from because it’s not picking up the properties from the locations I described?

Whenever I upload images to the homepage slider, it seems to only show the first image, then go black. I did notice a file name scroll up and down in place of the second image (in a small bar at the top portion of the slider). Any ideas? Thanks again!!!

FOUND MY PROBLEM I just had to upgrade wordpress. Figures they have to have an upgrade a week before I update my theme lol.

I’m getting a called to undefined function error when installing this theme: Fatal error: Call to undefined function register_nav_menus() in C:\wamp\www\balistreri\wordpress\wp-content\themes\dowdle-quickstart\functions.php on line 132

I looked through that .php file and the function isn’t defined anywhere.

I’m back with another question about the jquery slider.

I really dislike stuff sliding back and forth on a webpage, and have no idea why designers like this feature so much. The slider takes up so much valuable real estate at the top of a website. But it does have its uses, I suppose.

Having said that, is it possible to stop that automatic wretched slider and have clickable links under the image so that the reader can choose to move on to the next image, if so desired?

If not, can the slider be removed altogether?

I love this theme and really want to purchase it, but I need to have these questions answered before I do so. I’m heading offline until tomorrow afternoon. (Or later) will check back then.

Great theme. One curveball regarding video in the portfolio. Menu items appear on top of the video. Additionally, the ‘close/exit’ button at top right of the video doesn’t work. This is problematic in all browsers

Otherwise this is a very solid and well executed theme. Loads very fast! Be far the quickest and easiest portfolio set up I’ve ever seen. Nice work.

Please provide a glimpse of the Admin panel. This is the only thing holding me back from buying!
