Matt, I do apologize I was very upset about not knowing how to download a theme the other day. I was having a horrible time finding an appropriate theme for my website. My-Bad. I must say I did not think you would respond and I am sooooo happy that you were quick respond. I have since re-downloaded the file properly and I did get a photo uploaded into the slider. so….My website actually has it’s own portfolio page and the “check out my portfolio” button is somewhat inappropriate as it merely takes the reader to the next post and photo. Is it possible: 1. to remove the button? 2. to change the text in the button? 3. to redirect the button to land on my actual portfolio page. I understand it is a slider related button so this may not be possible, but I thought I would ask anyway. Thanks for your quick response. I won’t promise I won’t have a hundred other questions.
I am pretty new with wordpress. Would this blog be hard for me to set up? I would only need the blog page. would that be possible?

I don’t understand these instructions…sorry I am not a web developer. I thought this would be easier. Please clarify:
- if want the project to be on the homepage main banner, add “portfolio” custom field with value “1”, then add “project_type” custom field. Name it “webdesigning” or something, then add ‘project_image” custom field with the absolute path to project image to be displayed on the homepage main abnner. This Image dimension as to be 430px ? 218px. Also, remember text display on home from excerpt. Read More button come automatically with its link so no need to worry about it.

I have been playing around with this theme for a good few days and its very impressive. However I have a couple of questions that I cannot resolve myself….
1. I notice on the sample site that the Featured items do not appear in the Blog page (or I cannot find them!), which is exactly what I want. How do I accomplish this?
2. I have noticed that the ‘read more’ link does not work as intended. Ill try and explain – My main Blog page is at and when I try and click ‘read more’ under any of my blog entries I can see that the link just takes me back to However if I either click the ‘read more’ that slides in over the image or I click the Recent Posts these work just fine.
