I updated to version 2.1 of the theme today and for some reason it is displaying all of the main level pages on the navigation bar. I have tried deleting the menu with the parent/child pages but it still displays only the pages. Any idea why this might be happening?

Hello I love this theme and am so happy I purchased it!

How can I create pagination at the bottom of my big portfolio page?

I have over 100 portfolio items and they all load on one page and it takes to long. Is there any way to show only 6 items and have page numbers at the bottom of the page leading to the other portfolio items?

I have one question: is it possible to directly embed videos e.g. in small gallery on top? I mean that on click the video starts directly and not in an overlay? Some PHP programming skills are available!

Yes,

I got the image shortcode to work, syntax error on my part, left a } in and never saw it.

BUT ,

The button shortcodes will still not work for me in the three boxes on the homepage.

Was able to fix the homepage button by altering PHP , but can not get any of the shortcodes to work.

1. I dont understand what you mean by the slider is a ‘catagory’ If i go to my menus and select one, the only catagory i can add to them is one called “uncatagorized” there is nothing else…

2. Dont worry about this, as long as i get the slider working this point doesnt matter lol.

The thing that would seriously help me more than anything is if you can get me the screen captures of what the ‘menus’ should look like, as well as the ‘pages’ one as well. (By what they should look like i mean like a visual step by step guide in order to make it understandable, your guide though very nice for the experienced WP user is not detailed enough for someone like me, ie a total n00b!)

I’ve just started building my kin theme on wordpress and I’m experiencing difficulty with a few items. I am hoping you can guide me through my roadblocks?! Or perhaps there is a way for you to get into my wordpress editing page to build a simple template for me to work from?

At the moment my page does not look right..I don’t think the style sheet is working properly.

1. Under the General Tab – Skins section: I understand there is meant to be a drop down menu with white or black as options; however, my drop down menu is blank?

2. Under the General Tab – Your logo: I have added my logo, but it has not published onto my site.

If you could create a simple template for me that resembles the current kin webpage I would be very grateful. I can send you my url and wordpress account info.
