I do not want more information to appear at the bottom of each page? How do I stop that

I do not want the category to appear in the menu, how do I stop that. I am not using the blog function at this time.

My apology for missing your note earlier. I have tried to troubleshoot based on Your note:

The extra blank space seems to be a result of the changes you’ve made or your content. There is a HEAD tag and some CSS in the middle of the page after your third column. That shouldn’t be there as it’s invalid and causing the display irregularity.

You can easily test your code with W3C Validator to see if there are any errors:

Can you provide a hint where the height of this section might be controlled, or where the HEAD tag you refer to might be. There is no head tag in any of my pages. I also investigated the footer, but it is not there either. Yes, the test does show some errors but it does not give me a hint as to which file contains the error is. As you can see I am a bit of a novice. Thank you in advance for your help. Dan

Instead of having the “Portfolio” link can that be renamed whatever we want? For instance, something like “Departments” would be better for the site I’m helping a friend build for her home business/store. Then instead of each “Portfolio Item” entry it would have each department such as “Skating,” “Gymnastics” and “Dance.” So then on the “Department” link/page it would show each department mentioned above and on the homepage it would show those 3 items instead of portfolio items. So basically, just want to replace an actual portfolio with each department of her store.

I can help to modify Portfolio titles/slugs to Departments.

you can change titles. but

Example:

Portfolio 1 – to your title

but in the admin panel menu you will have title like:

Portfolio->Edit Portfolios Portfolio->Add Portfollio

and links will be as

www.example/portfolio/YOUR_TITLE/

so, i can help you and make it more better for your friend like:

Departments->Edit Departments Departments->Add Department

and links will be as

www.example/department/YOUR_TITLE/

Thanks, I just wasn’t sure how different galleries/albums could be organised and displayed. For example I would want to have a list of galleries on the home page so that when a user clicks on a gallery they would then be taken to the specific page with all the photos.

Fantastic template! Looks amazing. Only one question… Is there a limit to how many images can be on the homepage? Does it automatically create a page navigation or is there a max for the home page images?
