My contact form solution for this theme ended up being Contact Form 7 The setup was effortless (down load Form 7, expand zip, ftp to server, activate, and then paste [contact-form 1 “Contact form 1”] where ever you want the form to exist. My comment form worked the first try and generated the email. Also some eloquent configuration settings in the WP Admin panel, right on the Plugin screen.

One other issue…

I’ve created the featured category for the homepage slider, loaded up some images etc and everything works great. But because I want my homepage in blog format the featured slider posts also show up in the homepage. Yech ! Looks stupid.

I tried to exclude the category by tweaking the index.php, but that just disabled the images going to the slider.

Is there a way to stop the slider posts appearing on the homepage blog area ?

All’s well except that my slider does not scroll through as it should. It just stays on the first slide unless I set the icons to on, in which case it still does not cycle, but does allow me to manually navigate the slides.

NEVERMIND – the slider cycle setting is set to “seconds” not “milliseconds’...the default is 5000 “seconds”; I assumed it was “milliseconds”, but not that set to 5, it scrolls every 5 “seconds” as intended…thx for your theme

Sorry for the double post, but I should have completely read the instructions before I posted. I was able to resolve #3, but am still wondering about the others…

What is the correct image size for the homepage slider with the caption on it, I cant seem to get this thing working either…I have included the image path in manually, but the images don’t want to show.

Hi! This is a fantastic theme and while following all the directions I got almost everything I wanted to know.

I only get stuck at the frontpage not with the slider though but I can get the two-colums and the text like it is shown in the demo like here:

Where there the part of text welcome to our website and then the two colums part OUR SERVICES and ABOUT US . I made a seperate page and mentioned in the slide widget to attach that to it. The page itself has 2 colums but it is not shown on the homepage.

It’d be great if I could get this fixed.

Three questions:

You write: Cross browser compatible with IE6 support—sorry to ask a maybe obvious, but this means its compatible with Safari as well, but only support is for IE6 ?

Is it at all possible to play videos in the slider? (I think not,but have to ask)

And last, as far as movies – is it supported that movies be displayed with this theme by pulling not from service (YouTube etc.) , but from our own server?
