Older/Newer links don’t work – page_blog.php only returns the 10 latest results. when you click older, the same 10 results are displayed. Spent the last 6 hours trying to figure out the logic behind the theme coding, and comparing it to other themes that work. Any idea why?

Is this template Wordpress 3.0 compatible? If not when will it be?

Hello

I have one question.

I am making a photo gallery page. What i would like to do is when u see all the pictures in my gallery (made with the option to insert the gallery using the insert gallery from the insert pictures mode) and click one picture to have a page that has more pictures of the same picture and some text.

So far when i select to show the attachment page option it shows me the specific image post url – but how can i add some text and more images to that post url?

I am interested in purchasing and customizing this theme for a client. The client loves it already. However, we want to move around the home page circles to other spots on the home page (still in the same basic bounds of where the graphic is now) and make some the circles bigger. We are fine with keeping the same number of circles.

Is this something I could even attempt myself? I am a designer who is a whiz with HTML , CSS and Photoshop, and can basically understand what PHP code is saying but can’t write from scratch. Or should I hire one of your guys to customize based upon a PSD I come up with? If I need to hire, is this something that would be really expensive to do (like more than $500?).

I still love the theme and I think I’m getting somewhere now!

Might be having a blond moment but I cannot work out why I’m not getting images on my posts?

a example

I have urls in thumbnail image, banner image and portfolio settings. I had had the posts on portfolio style but I have changed that (turned it off). I know the image is recognised as it is on the homepage slider.

Can you please advise me on what I should have done? Or be doing?

Also, am I right in assuming that the timthumb script works automatically, as long as there is a url in the appropriate box?

Finally, you mentioned that you have an update. You also said it could be problematic for some if settings and code have been changed. However, I seem to be struggling on setting up the blog. Perhaps I’ve done it already as I have a post! However my point of asking is that if the update clarifies the blog page, can I upload just the appropriate code? At my risk?

Just to clarify, my (only) post is listed at the base on the domain front page with an image.

I want to add “Blog” to the menu but cannot seem to link the posts to the blog (when I have tried).

Also how to do I get domain.com to link to domian.com/home?

Thanks for the help again! What is the pullquote shortcode? I noticed somewhere in the code I was reading that it is there, but I don’t remember it.

Another question, a softball Q really, what are the dimensions of the regular full width thumbnails (not the squares)? timthumb is cutting off some content, and I want to resize the images so that that does not happen.

Can’t figure out why pagenavi is working under the last post. and can’t seem to properly configure page navigation to fall under the last post.

I’ve tried placing <?php wp_pagenavi(); ?> just about everywhere in the footer.php and it won’t work. Any ideas?

What is the proper syntax for the simple toggle shortcode? I inserted the simple toggle shortcode using the Tesla icon in the editor. It inserted the following in my page:

your text here[/toggle]

I replaced “Toggle Title” with “WordPress” and I replaced “Insert your text here” with my text (without quotations, of course).

The toggle title displays on my page with the + symbol. When I click the + symbol, it turns to a – symbol, but the text does not display. When I click the – symbol, it does not turn back to a + symbol.

This happens no matter how many or few toggle shortcodes I use on the page. The toggles work fine when I view your demo site.

I don’t see in the documentation how to set up the portfolio gallery or special formatting for each page. Please advise.

@sitka: The background image can be fixed but you’ll have to make a slight hange to the theme’s CSS file. It will simply be adding a no-repeat to the body background image. The images are also selectable from the admin panel. You simply drop your own image is a preset folder and it will show up in the dropdown list, under the theme options.

The images are added as single ones but you can just as well use the built-in WP gallery feature. Just make sure you include the gallery in an [image_collection] shortcode pair.

The slider image can be made larger. You’ll only have to reformat the page layout to make it fit the larger size. The theme offers shortcodes for building different page layouts ([grid_1, [grid_2], etc)
