Hello

I have problem to use Koncept 10 in 1

I can’t removie home, and I also don’t have the page called “home”

This theme is full of errors, both on the admin side and on the front end. documentation is marginal at best.

Admin: them options page works erratically – sometimes options load, sometimes they don;t – you have to hit a “magic” sequence of options to get things to come up.

3. menus aren;t working on the front end – they maybe on the admin side, but the header.php file had to be manually changed for it to wrk.

lots of other “details”...

I’ve sent author an eMail hopefully they respond. Until then I would hold of on buying it…

My apology for missing your note earlier. I have tried to troubleshoot based on Your note:

The extra blank space seems to be a result of the changes you’ve made or your content. There is a HEAD tag and some CSS in the middle of the page after your third column. That shouldn’t be there as it’s invalid and causing the display irregularity.

You can easily test your code with W3C Validator to see if there are any errors:

Can you provide a hint where the height of this section might be controlled, or where the HEAD tag you refer to might be. There is no head tag in any of my pages. I also investigated the footer, but it is not there either. Yes, the test does show some errors but it does not give me a hint as to which file contains the error is. As you can see I am a bit of a novice. Thank you in advance for your help. Dan

I loaded the theme to my FTP like I always do with sites, and got this error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: register_nav_menus() in /homepages/10/d317965773/htdocs/spiral/wp-content/themes/nextelement/functions.php on line 62

what does this mean?

Guys, I like to test the load times of theme pages on So many themes pull 90, 100, 130 or more elements per page, and because of this they take anywhere from 8 to 15 seconds to download completely.

This NextElement theme is very efficient, and in my testing it is fast, WAY fast.

The homepage has only 44 elements and, get this, TOTAL download time is 1.4 seconds.

I tested a blog post from the theme and got total download times of 2.7 and 2.0 seconds.

Obviously iKarina’s hosting has a lot to do with the performance, and maybe she’s got the site hosted at WordPress VIP or on some superfast nginx server – I don’t know. What I do know is this theme is by far the most efficient I’ve tested in a while. So if you know how to host WordPress the right way and you don’t get silly with fat images, you’re likely get a very fast site with this theme.

So it seems Safari “Smart Quote” substitutions were the culprit, disabled that and its seeming OK… Thanks for the help now I can get busy writing copy again
