Can we edit the .php to get the image from the directory posts go in.

I’ve had to FTP all the images to /wp-content/themes/UpTownWP/posts/Yourimage.jpg

Hello,

I have two questions.

1) Is there a way to remove the ‘link-ing’ to the posts on the home page slider? In other words, I’d like the slider to simply be an image scroller, I don’t want it to link to the posts that contain the image.

2) Assuming requst #1 is possible, would there be a way to create another page slider that can be used on a different page with different images?

This might be very simple but I’m going crazy trying to figure it out! I need to do a popup gallery that features 3 different images. When you click on one, it displays several images (not the ones featured). Is this something that can be done with this theme?

OK,

Finally figured out how to enable the short code in PHP so that <?=?> works.

Fixed the cufon problem.

I still, however can not seem to get the button nor the image shortcodes to work. When using the button short code just the actual short code code shows as text.

Using the image shortcode shows the ? placeholder instead of the image. The URL being is used os correct and shows the image when typed directly in a browser.

I have not yet tried any of the other shortcodes.
