I downloaded this theme on Jan 19, 2010. In version 3 I had to fix the following.

The theme was only showing 4 ads. In ads_sidebar.php, in the for statement, I had to change the code from $i <= 4 to $i <=6

My 6th ad wasn’t showing. The problem was in the admin-options.php located in the functions folder.

This block of text: array( "name" => "Banner Sidebar 6 (125 x 125)", "desc" => "Please enter image for sixth banner", "id" => $shortname."_banner4_image", "std" => "", "type" => "text"), had to be changed so to that the $shortname."_banner4_image" was $shortname."_banner6_image"

Only comments I have at the moment.

Theme V3 doesn’t seem to work. I can’t get the header images to load, the theme options is adding a ’/’ to the path of the header images whenever you save it, the 4th advertisement on the sidebar won’t save…

I could go on and on. Fortunately I have extensive coding experience in multiple languages so it’s not a problem for me to go threw and hardcode everything to work the way I need it to. However for those less experienced I suggest staying away from this theme if you’re purchasing it for the V3 features.

I like your design on this one. I might purchases it. what I’m really looking for is something along this line. A client see a library of books on a shelf with titles on them. The client can click on the book and it come down and gives a review of the book. There is a link which opens the books where they can read several pages.

my older posts aren’t showing up when you click the view older entries button. The address changes in the address bar, but the content on the homepage stays the same. Got any ideas?

I am interested in this theme but want to know if it is capable of having two columns, one being the content column and one being the sidebar on right. The content column would feature a featured post, then underneath it, I want to display a split column for news and deals.

Can this be done? Or would this take too long to accomplish…?

Hey I am using the Chaapar theme, and after installing the first thing I tried to do was create a category called “Leadstory” like it says in your installation document. This is the error message that displays when I try to do this.

I can’t get the images to display properly. They either aren’t the right size and have a long string of text that trails after them or they don’t show up at all. Can you please offer some advice? If needed, I can give you contributor access so that you can try to add an image.

I posted over on the support forum after being unable to get an answer on here or via email. I still can’t get an answer on the support forum. I bought the theme on June 22 so with all due respect, I’ve been waiting all this time to get this wordpress site up and running.

Excellent theme. Thanks for designing this. Looking fro some help with it.

it’s inregards to the Thumbnail “Slide” page. I’ve changed the wrap to this:

Some how it’s not wrapping as picture 1, picture, 2, ... picture 12, picture 1, picture 2

Are there other areas that needed to be change as well?

Purchased this theme today, and am so excited familiarizing myself with it!

A couple of questions:

1. I removed the search bar as instructed (mainly because I have several pages, and the menu ends up wrapping around to the next line which isn’t very attractive), but the menu still wraps around. It’s as if the search bar is gone, but the space that it took up still exists forcing the menu to still wrap around. How can I remove that space, so the remaining links can take the place of the search bar?

2. I’ve followed directions to make a static home page, which includes hiding the 2nd home page as a child page of About. I then used Exclude Pages to hide both of them, yet on the Home Page – right under the images – ABOUT still shows up. How can I remove that About?

i bet this one would have had way more sales with a different name. plentong in the states “whitey” is almost like a racial slur.

I just purchased the template and everything is fine, but I would like to change the right sidebar on the Homepage. I want it to be the same as the internal pages. How can I do that?

Question – I get that the homepage consists of the most recent blog posts in the circles, so my question is where are the rest of the blog posts? Meaning where is #18 and onward so I can click NEXT PAGE and continue reading.

I love this theme. I wish more designers would take chances like this…everything is so generic around here…I’d like to see more industry specific themes.

I do wish there were more colors to choose from, I’d be a buyer for sure!

Yeh i agree with @tonvie; i like that this design is refreshingly different, a lot of the stuff (read, most) is so generic and looks the same on Themeforest. However this theme is a little lacking in the tech/functionality side, it could be improved a lot.

However, don’t want to take away from the design too much with my negative comment, it looks really nice! Good luck with the sales.
