Hello, So i’m interested in purchasing this theme for an upcoming project, however i’m a little uncertain after reading all the negative feedback here. Many people have had issues and claim the author is not willing to help out. I want to hear some success stories to help me decide!!
Some peeps aren’t happy with the author of this theme, but I’ve gotten great response from him, he’s fixed stuff for me on 2 occasions. The best way to contact him, which he states on the theme page, is to email him through his Theme Forest profile, he asks very nicely for us not to ask for help through the comments, which is very understandable as who has time to trawl through a comments page?

you are right, documentation in v5.0 is an old one. I’ll fix this in next update.
The main feature in wp 2.9.x version is that you no longer need “thumb” custom fields but instead you use “post-thumbnail” feature implemented in WP 2 .9.x. Everything else is the same (with minor bug fixes). just open your post/page and set your thumbnail i right sidebar.
When you upload new image, it will automatically resize to all formats specified by this theme (in functions.php file).
The only problem are old images, because they don’t exist in all formats specified. The timthumb script was doing it automatically. So, you have to re-upload your images or use a great plugin: .

thanks, but this is really a horror.
The plugin has no effect at all for your filmstrip animation and its images – nothing is shown.
Then I edited the articles, that should be shown in the filmstrip and set a “thumbnail” with the new feature of Wordpress 2.9.2 – but no single image appears in the filmstrip animation.
Also changing the animation into “standard slider” has no effect – only text is shown, no image

I updated to version 2.1 of the theme today and for some reason it is displaying all of the main level pages on the navigation bar. I have tried deleting the menu with the parent/child pages but it still displays only the pages. Any idea why this might be happening?

I think this is an excellent theme! I just can’t seem to get it to work. I uploaded the theme and by default it shows my blog post entries instead of the beautiful page you’ve designed.

I am getting the following error message: Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\urbanrenewal\wp-content\themes\magzimus\includes\twitteroauth\twitteroauth.php on line 17
I have tried installing it both ways described in the documentation.
I am using Wordpress 3.0.1 and do not have any plug-ins installed, except the 2 standard “askimet” & “Hello Dolly”.
How can I solve the problem/error message?
