Wow – This is spot on. Simplicity itself yet wonderfully designed. I love the Cufon and image reveal on the portfolio page. Bought!

For my money, the best theme here for a while – ticks all the boxes for me! ...Nicely done.

Can you tell me how to have the slider navigation perputually ‘on’ please.

Thanks.

Damn this is sexy, no worries about the slider, everybody use that kind of transition these days :)

web 2.0 site template

What other people say:

Found a little tweak. Since I’ve got a big portfolio on the site, I’d prefer it that on the first load not ALL files are shown (by default) because that would slow down the site considerably.

In css/style.css add an empty class:

.now{}

In portfolio.html, after (line 58 – 59):

return false; });

Add the following:

$j('ul#filter a.now').click();

In portfolio.html, in the portfolio navigation links. Add to the category that you want to show up on first load:

class="now"

For example:

<li class="current"><a href="#" class="now">portfolio</a></li>

Live examples:

It’s not 100% perfect, the portfolio still hangs a bit a the start, especially in Chrome but it’s definitely an improvement.

Hello,

I’ve just finished populating my website with information and now I’m starting to convert it into a dynamic website. I’ve used PHP includes for the header, navigation and footer and other common parts of the webpage so I can separate them out into different files, However I was wondering about the ‘Portfolio’ section. Does anyone have any tutorials on how you would convert this into a PHP based section? I’m new to PHP and only know the basics but I am happy to learn and I don’t really want to use a CMS for this project, If anyone has any links to tutorials then it would be greatly appreciated.

Love the layout, Regards – Arron.
