If so, all blog posts will appear on your blog page except when using the portfolio category you set in the “Smart Portfolio Settings” page in the WP admin area.

One small question. I’ve set up one of the menu items as Blog and created a page with the blog template, as per instructions. However, when I post items they don’t appear there. What else do I need to do to get the posts to appear automatically? Is this possible?

I bought this as a compliment to the excellent matching WordPress template. I’m glad I did. I makes it easy to add static custom pages and not mess around with the Wordpress backend. It keeps my site fluid as people don’t notice they bounce around from a CMS to a static page as it all looks the same. The bonus I got with this template is that it was already broken up with PHP Include scripts for the header, footer etc. I was really thrilled this was done for me already even though there was no mention of it in the features list.
One thing to keep in mind is that the design was directly ported from a working WordPress theme. Almost all of the functionality is not working as it would in Wordpress… like the breadcrumbs, the automatically updated sidebar goodies etc. I hope most people who buy this realize this before purchasing to avoid any disappointment. After all, this a template, not a full blown working website!
The slider doesn’t work, only display the first item category. Could you help me?

I bought this theme. It is nice and a clean style.
HOWEVER your CSS is convoluted. If I change an attribute in the main CSS (style.css), as an example something in the header, in the IE/IE6 css files, I also have to change the same attribute. Triple the work. The normal way to do IE/IE6 stylesheets is to ONLY include the specific conditional comments needed to make IE/IE6 see almost the same design. You have not done a very good job in your coding practices, and as such, I will not give this any ranking at all. I should have actually looked at the CSS before I purchased this. Waste of my money.

I buyed it, but you get only HTML files. These times i supose to get wordpress PHP files in 87 mb download file. Because theme is advertised as WP theme. Its a little misleading. Otherwise theme looks good, i miss for these money basic WP php files.

I love your design. I am planning on buying it, but wanted to ask a few questions first.
1. How much control do I have over the CSS ? If I want to have more choice than just light/dark—can I change the background colour, H1 colour etc readily, or will the other files (ajax etc) impact? I only know XHTML and CSS so want to be sure.
2. Is there somewhere I can view how this equates in Wordpress or would it basically look exactly the same in WP vs just normal?

Have one problem with the header, you can check it on www.balume.com Need it to be white in colour as the rest of the page body which I managed to change in the CSS files, but cannot do the same for the header which is still the default grey. Could you point me in the right direction, is it changeable in the CSS or do I need to change a psd file. Thanks

I’ve spent the last two weeks working with this template and converting to CMS Made Simple for a client.
Unfortunately, it is very fragile and small changes cause it to go out of whack in IE6 and even Firefox. I ended up fixing most of the problems, but it was a lot of work to do it.
This theme is based on the 960 grid, but instead of using the prefix class it uses float:right for the small menu and the sidebar, which breaks the grid.
I ended up converting it to HTML 5 /CSS3 and reworking it to simplify. For example, I use corner-radius and box-shadow properties on the sidebar elements. They don’t work in IE8 but the site still looks decent.
I ended up replacing her grid.css with the original 960.css and killing all the float:rights and adding the prefix classes to the actual elements.
I also put negative 10px margins on the .lightbox and .darkbox sections of the sidebar in order to get the actual content lined up in the 960 grid.
The slider graphic is still off, as far as the grid goes, but it looks pretty good anyway.
There is really a lot of clutter and remnant code in this template and stylesheets. I’m not done but I’ve cut out a lot of it to simplify things.
I’m in the process of converting the slider to a jQuery.

If you try to preview the template’s “Live Preview” in Firefox, you’ll also notice it.

I bought the html/css template a couple of weeks ago but the contact form isn’t working.
I’ve changed the email in sendmail.php and tested it on our servers. When you click the ‘send message’ button, the whole form animates up to nothing?
Any thoughts on whats going wrong?

For those who already purchased the template, only 1 file has been modified : superbgimage.gallery.js so you can replace it directly (in the “js” folder) and it won’t affect anything else (except if you already modified it).

Really enjoying the template! I do have a question:
The logo .png I’m using is slightly larger than the included one, and it’s crowding the nav elements to the right of it.
I’ve attempted to edit both the .sf-menu class in both the style.css file and the superfish.css, but I can’t get the nav to scoot over to the right.
Would you have a suggestion or solution?

Well I solved the above issue by downloading and reviewing the colorbox software, and following one of the samples
But now I have a new problem.
the index-slider.html page does not work on my webpage. it works fine on my local machine just not onceI upload it to my the website.
I thought it might be a code change i made, so I uploaded the entire template without any changes and the slider doesn’t work there either.

Here’s the FTP address 173.83.199.91. It’s on the projects page. The footer doesn’t sit on the bottom and there is a white gap. Also is there a way to stop the footer jumping when you look at the different tabs in the project page?
