Of course you can. You change background color in CSS .
For changing content color you have to change 3 images (top, bottom and repeating middle).
Everything else is done by CSS .

Question about the js file? I build sites more for fun and not as a career so this may seem like a simple question. I built a site with this template as a favor, I was forced to do the FTP upload in the public_html folder on the server. Now none of the js photo galleries are functioning, it simple links the image on a blank page. I checked the file relation in calling the script in the head and it appears to still be right…........and suggestions.
I brought this file and the zip contains nothing at all inside except a DS Store file. Can you please send me the files?

Anyways, its a nice theme but i do wish it wasnt in php. I understand your reasoning, but i code in asp.net and i wanted this theme in html and javascript so i could pull it out into a master page and do it that way.
Are you sure you cant provide just an index.html page with everything? I dont need flashing ads and all that jazz just a simple html index page so i can mess with it?
Ok, this is way later than I expected but I finally updated the template with an HTML version. There are a couple features that must have PHP to function normally so I’ve left those and just made the rest HTML only.

@jennifaohjenni – Hi! If you want to use this template with WordPress and manage all the footage from WP’s Dashboard, it isn’t possible.
But if you still want to use this template as a html template, this is how you do it (shortly); First – I recommend that you read the read_me.pdf file. Then you change your logo and start editing texts and images. Last, you upload the site to your server and start spreading the word of your new site!
If you want to use it with Dashboard etc, you’ve to convert this template to WP theme and that’s much more difficult.
If you want to go with this template, I’ll do my best to help you, thanks!

@jennifaohjenni – You will need atleast a notepad to edit texts. Images you can simply overwrite if you don’t want to edit the paths. And then FTP -program to upload the site to your server, just like Wordpress. But you don’t have to run any installation at your server.

I’ve almost completed my content with your template. Thank you.
I have a couple of irritations though. I’ve provided a link to screenshots which I’ve cut and pasted into 1 image. These are (other than 1) screenshots of the original template files (I haven’t altered anything). You’ll see the altered image which is mine (as the menu bar has different headings).
I’ve circled what the issues are – firstly, you will notice a line running vertically down the menu buttons to the left of the first letter of each highlighted menu heading. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this line? This only appears on IE (version I’m using is 8 ). This does not appear on other browsers – for my testing, it does not appear on chrome or safari, so it appears to be an IE issue.
The bottom of the screenshot shows the other issue. ie – The sub-menu buttons are not showing up properly all the time (again this screenshot is from your original files – I have done nothing to alter it). The buttons either appear 1/. with an extra line at the bottom of them (the left part of the screenshot), 2/. correct (where I have ticked), or 3/. with a line missing at the bottom of the image (where the read more text button is). Again this is with IE. It’s ok with chrome and safari.
So, the second question; Is there anything I can do to consistently show the image correctly?

Just wanted to put in another vote for the Wordpress version. I like to buy both versions and run an HTML site with a separate, but coordinating blog, so know you have a double purchase when you are ready with the WP side. I have a small problem tho the site I created – the contact form will not work, on the surface everything looks to be in working order, the code looks the way it should, yet when the contact form is submitted it is not sent to the email address inputted. Can you help please? – I have been trying to work out the problem yet I am unable to.

Hi mixer theme… I have a urgent problem. I refer to the typography.html where there the table header and the success/warning/ error info box. The shape of the boxes is rectanagle with curvy shades at the corners. This is only seen in chrome and It is not working in IE7 .

great theme, could you tell me though how to get the small thumbs on the homepage to slide all the way through to thumb 7 instead of just 5? i have copied the code into the empty list boxes and they appear but they do not work as such? regards nick
