VACATION TIME

Well, finally come that time of year when I close the shop, take my familly and go far, far from urban city, crowd and technology to enjoy a well deserved peace.

This means I’ll be competely offline (no technology, remember) for next two weeks. When I come back I’ll answer all your questions (posted here, on mipdesignthemes or sent to mail).

I like it – i’d make one improvement though, the menu, change the hover background to a recycled style image rather than the light brown solid colour and the dividers between the menu options as it makes the dropdown look like its a bit off.

First off, great single page design!

Second, I notice you repeat the bg.jpg. Not that I know of anyone whom browses the web with the browser filling the screen on monitors that exceed 1600px wide but wouldn’t it be better to not repeat it and add a background-color to the CSS ? I was just curious if there was a reason, like compatibility issues, on why it was done this way.

First of all, I really like this design. Kudo’s! However, I have agree with taiyo in regards to screen resolution. I too am a user of 1024×768 and the width issue is a big deal for me. It would be nice to see the design updated so it will work fine at all resolutions, if it can be done. I’m going to wait to see for now, as it seems an answer may or may not be forthcoming.

I just downloaded the updated repository and I see there have been some changes but I’m still seeing this on a 1024×768 monitor:

when you scroll over to the right the bottom footer area is cutoff. Would you be able to fix this up as well please?

This template looks very impressive, but I have a question about the blog and blog page.

I don’t currently have a blog page on my site, but was wanting to add one, and that is why this template looks so promising to me.

Can someone tell me how I would use the blog within this template? by that I mean, is it a stand alone blog that I keep on my server, or is this a template that I apply to a blog I set up with some other company like blogspot?

Does it contain a UI to add posts or would I have to “code” any new posts?
