However the blur scroll effect only seems to work scrolling up? Is that a bug?

@Euscady: the file is developed on a Mac and it works equally on Safari, Crome, Firefox, IE and Opera on both Mac and Windows systems. Because the file will contact YouTube in order to download their player you had to add the location of the file to the Adobe (Macromedia) Flash Player trusted locations list WHEN launching on localhost, otherwise the FlashPlayer security model will block the internet access by default. It is very simple to do that and it is explained at the beginning of the user guide included in the package – just open that user guide and you’ll find there a section INSTALLATION – LOCALLY . Screenshots describing step-by-step how to do that are included also in that user guide. Of course, feel free to contact me by mail if you can’t make it work
