I have bought your file and this is excellent so far (except for the missing part about sorting and list).

One problem with loading external flash swf into a project. media mediaPath=”swf/myOwnSWF.swf” type=”flash” in xmlClusters.xml

How do I set the size of the loaded swf?

When I load a swf that is 995×150 pixels – it destroys the layout and project info view. And things in the SWF that are outside the scene, is visible in the project.

Can I set the width and height of the loaded SWF ?

there’s no link to go back to the full portfolio view. the little + and – only move forward and back a gallery. you should have a link to view the homepage.

In my computer resolution is setting 1280×800 pixels. Ok, all is ok. But if I change resolution to 1024×768, all beome mixed. Is there the way to fix that?

Hey Rob, can you give me a quick hint on adding additional pages to the main navigation. I want to duplicate the News section, I’ve added a button as per instructions but need to get the button to recognise the new section. Can edit in Flash 8, CS3 or 4

I like very much your work and it’s easy to customize but i have a BIG PROBLEM with ENCODING . The site does not display the accented characters.

I live in France and i write in "encoding" "<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1" standalone="yes"?>    instead of "<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="yes" ?>" but it doesn't work.
Can you  indicate me what can I do.

For whoever wants to place the code externally I found a way to do it without the use of packages and classes that’s normal for coding in AS3 .

One could use the include command.

So wherever there is code in a FLA file the following code can be used:

include "code/template1.as";

And the whole chunk of code that was there can be taken outside the FLA in the “template1.as”, for example.

This way one can work with the code in his favorite editor. I use FlashDevelop which I highly recommend for coding in Actionscript.

I made several content modules, but the font style (I believe is _sans) is completely gone. What am I missing?

I opend /deploy/index.html – and I saw nothing – only a black Window. I opend the file in my PC and I have the same problem. I Вґve an actually system (win7), Flashplayer 10… please help me

Thank you for your response to my inquiry about V8. However, I’ve decided to go with V7 after a lot of deliberation.

1. I’ve tried loading my AS2 SWF into the template. For the most part, it actually loads fine and works well and all. However, when I navigate away from the SWF app to go to another item on the Menu, that’s where all hell breaks loose. The Carousel in “Home” is bunched up in the upper left-hand corner, the text in News is misaligned, etc… About the only module that acts normal is Contact, for some reason.

It is possible that the SWF ’s “align” setting and swapDepth statements are interfering with the parent template.

Is there a way to unload the SWF after the user is done with it and navigates to another page? There is no onExitFrame as far as I know.

2.In Team Members – Management (or Developers), the white overlay highlight seems to be a few pixels off. The text is not covered by the highlight on the right side and is sticking out. Yet, on the left side, the highlight protrudes about as many pixels out to the left.

This is true for the Demo on ActiveDen, too. Is there an easy XML fix, or is a “hard” FLA fix required?

When I run the menu_tree.fla file, background color changes to different colors and font color changes to white. ( Like opposite of the example that given) Subcategory does not appear. I can not see the writings at subcategory. look at the following link and help me?
