Excellent file. Sweet, subtle, and sophisticated. Really.

Congratulations on the birth of your child. We all know now how your time has shrunk. Better time is spent with a child than a computer.

If you have time and can get around to it, I, also have a few tweaks that I have been unable to manage myself.

1.) In the top menu header, two of the type elements are slightly misaligned vertically. They are “Contact” and “Zoom In.” I went into the .fla files for them, and adjusted the type down 1 pixel. Didn’t seem to make a difference. I think I did save and republish them, and still didn’t seem to make a difference. Any suggestions out there?

2.) I, too would like to move all the elements of the flipping page (except the bottom small control bar, it is fine where it is) up an inch or so. I got lost in your explanation of the process for another customer. Can anyone out there restate the process more succinctly, or more directly? If an xml fix is coming out in version 7, no problem, I can wait.

3.) I have my background music loading okay, but it begins playing before all the pages are loaded and the animation begins. Could anyone out there tell me how to delay the start of the music by 10 seconds or so?

Hi Bjorn,

it seems that the problem is, after all, coming from within the template. All SlideShow Pro and Adobe forums are suggestive but puzzled. Have a look at teh website – you’ll see what I mean www.backlitfilms.net (showreel). There needs to be some way of either incorporating the xml from SSP into your settings (or whatever) xml so that the player is guided to where to look for the content. Basically, I just need a player to go into where that space is allocated for the SWF file. Any advice?

Ok.

1: php on server says the following:

sendmail_from no value no value sendmail_path /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i

where coloumn two is local and three is master.

2: config.fla is written right

3: my email address is in line three.

4: I know you said i should understand what everything else does but it seems I don’t because I would expect there to be: a: a generated email; b: a proper sender’s email address.

of which there is neither.

Please assume, for the purpose of getting this working right, that my knowledge is not at the level of yours re: coding etc. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Could you please advise me how to embed this .swf file into a .html page? We want to use this as a portfolio, however would like to have it inside our website template, rather than a standalone page.

Also, where in the coding can we re-scale the image window? All of our pictures are distorted, can we use a different ratio?
